uh hi there

ready for a real critique ?

first i like the overall design. i think it'd look cool as a small-ish framed poster with probly some kind of beige background. the art-deco look works and the font is perfect for it. (you'd have to straighten up the lines though ) i think creative coloring would really help out. I see bright eyepopping red petals in the tomorrow pic.

the yesterday pics face and hair are the awesome points. love the big eyes and the mouth. I think the hand is lacking a certain something. Doesn't give me a lot of feeling. the flower is cool but i think it could of looked a lot "happier" and its too cropped out. maybe put it in the foreground outside the girls frame?

with the today pic.. i think the hands are great. the dress is splendidly done. The hair... I like the bottom half a lot, something about the bangs I don't really care for, probably its a few too many single lines Again I think the flower should've been more happy instead of half-dead, but thats chalked up to artistic perogative i think. A change like that would really alter the meaning...I think the eyes should've been big like your DD pic, again thats just my pref I love that sad look. My biggest complaint is the nose/jaw; it seems off somehow, I'd like to tell you how but I can't put my finger on it. The petal that gets cut off by the frame should have gone over the top of it.

The tomorrow pic I like a lot. I wouldn't have a terrible lot to say about. Maybe throwing part of it outside the frame would've been cool though. A few petals or something and perhaps a wind gust ?

I like Tomorrow the best, followed by Yesterday, followed by Today. My main suggestion is putting some detail outside the squares. Petals flying around and such.

anyway... sorry for the long message. it's only cause i like your work (and your responses too) Wish I could draw this stuff

Very nice drawing, I think the hands in the middle picture are a tad bit too small, and of course a few minor errors here and there, but who cares ~ the point gets across and that's what counts. Good job
